felt pretty bland for much of the filler arcs, other than that it was good.

First of all, never take this seriously and don't go in expecting an awesome story/plot. This author is not good at writing serious stuff. I laughed a lot and loved it, I recommend it to everyone that has some proper sense of humor in them. Well, I don't care to say that much more about it, that I gave a "8" means "very good" on my scale, below flawless at 10 and awesome at 9 but above just being "Good" at 7. This is based purely on my enjoyment without caring too much about details.
There were only two things I found really annoying... The first is a certain psychopath character that I didn't feel fit in too well in a comedy like this even if it made the story somewhat more interesting. She's the kind of type I'd like to be tortured slowly if this was a chinese xianxia. I hate her guts since she's only there to screw stuff up and I generally feel repugnance at such personalities. Oh well, I just find her to be unnecessary or rather she could've been done in a better way to be somewhat more likeable.
The second thing I really disliked was the obviously very forced and badly written arc where guri gets turned into a demon. It started out pretty well with believable cause and we saw hints leading to it from quite a few chapters earlier, but then the conclusion is way too anticlimactic and unbelievable... It really had me like "what the fck? Wasn't this supposed to be serious? How come she suddenly just turned back all of a sudden?". We get the feeling that the author couldn't take writing something remotely serious and just wanted to end it quickly. I was happy that the pure comedy came back since I didn't read this for serious stuff, just for laughs, but I am highly against ending something in such an unprofessional and immersion-breaking way. If you start it, end it properly and don't just jump over important scenes needed for a proper conclusion... Well, I didn't like that arc to begin with since this was never supposed to go even remotely serious, so I guess I should just be happy that it was over faster, even if it was bad writing
Oh, and that entire arc seemed to be just for the sake of making guri fall properly in love with the mc, it was never meant to be that serious, it felt a bit forced in regards to that love development too.
Ah... and the mc is a bit too timid and neutral for my taste. He's good and all, but I'm pretty tired of the japanese generic mc that could never harm a fly and lets everyone boss him around, walking all over him and treating him like some kind of an underling. It's not that bad in this manga, but he's FAR too normal. It'd be good if there was actually something truly special about him and not just the "he's extremely nice, forgiving and loving, but a weak wimp" bullshit. At the very least it'd be good if he was somewhat proficient at combat/fighting or had the backbone to talk back. People like him make me feel somewhat queasy since I like to immerse myself from the mcs perspective. By the way, my favorite mc types are the badass OP ones that doesn't let people walk all over them and has some basic control on the situation, or at least has some kind of a great talent that makes them special. The "average joe" type just doesn't feel like a protagonist, they're better off as friend A. If the mc was actually special or/and awesome, it'd make more sense why girls like him and it'd all feel deserved. I also don't have to see sorry excuses for "comedy" where the mc is abused and treated like shit by everyone for "gags", such as in d-frag and a lot of other japanese works, sorry, but I wonder how people can laugh at that, I mean that's the stuff that should happen to underlings and side characters... But as I said, although he's a wimp, there's not too many bad gags about it, so he's okay. I kinda expected it to be like that from the beginning since it's a japanese manga... If you want a truly badass mc, you'd have better luck going for chinese xianxia type novels or korean apocalyptic(or game) type novels where it's the complete opposite and it's rare to find a timid mc.

This is a romantic comedy that works because it leans heavily on the comedy side of that description (at least up to chapter five). The comedy is incredibly over-the-top (typical shenanigans include making hundreds of people fall in love with one another). In its absurdity, the manga reminds me a bit of Fujimura-kun Meitsu.

The author is able to balance good humour with plot progression. The romance is well thought out, and there are plenty of gratifying laugh out loud moments. The pacing is balanced and every character is unique and definitely memorable.
This is a good harem so far, and a light-hearted take on a yandere main love interest is well executed, to near perfection, I must say.
Relatable characters, storyline and a very strong, capable, mature MC tops the harem off as a very well written one with an original and fun premise.
Well done to the author.

I've been searching for a perfect yandere (personally I find those kind of female characters hilarious) and I found my treasure cove.
Dont expect any deep plot, just an enjoyable and funny story but quite good.

This. manga. is. awesome!
I have read a lot of romantic comedy manga but this is one of those that stands out. Its quite funny and has a unique twist. The setting kinda reminds me of TWGOK a bit, but is ultimately different. The shinigami/cupid is silly and cute albeit totally clueless. Her boss possessing the cat is creepy yet funny. So far, all of the characters are likeable, but the yandere heroine is definitely my favourite character - seemingly innocent, sweet and admirable in every way at first, but becomes murderous and creepily over-territorial when it comes to her love interest xD
If it weren't for the divinely protection, she could've gotten into a killing spree! haha!
Also, the art is awesomely SOLID from the get-go. I really love the art!
Dear God, I NEED MORE!
UPDATE: Day 208, post chapter 10....still no new chapters ;_;

If you've read many romantic comedy shounen with ridiculous supernatural premises and a wacky quick-building harem and otaku humor, this is basically along the same lines. It entertained me, but for the most part it's a bit below average. For example, "Enma no Hanayome" has better characters and "Ore ga Heroine wo Tasukesugite" has a more interesting setting. Based on 2 chapters, this manga's plot devices are a bit weak, the romance is also weak, and the protagonist and the yandere don't have much personality, but Gris (the angel who likes to cosplay) is reasonably cute.
one of the dumbest manga i've seen and one of the funniest
