Description

If you've keeped the track record of the Author (not the artist) his storytelling skills... Fuck, he sucks, end of the story. Ken somehow manages to keep a good record of artists working with him (dunno, maybe they owe him big) which are, at the end of the day, what keeps him afloat because that's the only thing the manga has in its favour: imagery (and even then I lost count of how many times I SIGHED-something I never thought I'd be capable to do in a horror manga til I met this author- and cringed at certain scenes).
The problem is that this is your 'flavor of the week story' and thus we don't get too much of a 'conflict': there's things that happen and stuff to gruesomely kill, that's it. By the end of each arc, almost (if not ALL) the characters introduced are killed (point in case: vol 4's arc introduced a lot of characters... all but one die!) meaning you won't get to attach yourself to any characters, whose personality is cardboard grade of flatness most of the time. Many of this deaths are pointless and really should have been better avoided for the sake of a sleeker narrative.
Want blood and gore mindlessly? Read this. Want something that has meat to grab alongside the blood to see? Avoid this like the fucking plague.

Man i havent read all of this but this series is just okay at best, Just prettty much random blood and gore and Depravity without much of a real plot. I mean it has one but its not really deep at all and still weird and confusing. Theres not much to look forward to this so far and im really annoyed that the artist is wasting time on this when he has a great series like "Gun x Clover" he could be working on. That series has been on a weird infrequent chapter rate since this has been on. And yea i know people will say im hating on this cause i like Gunxclover Better but i did want to like this series just as much as that one if not more. I like the art and i do like blood and gore sometimes but this one is letting me down.
